It's been awhile since I've posted. I've seemed to get distracted with life and forget about advocating.

I've recently became a Tupperware consultant and have done 2 fundraisers for 2 different families and am starting on a 3rd. I became attached to these families and can't look away now. I feel led to help any way I can.

The 3rd family i felt I needed to become their family warrior. I don't know why but God told me to.

So meet The Newby family...

Meet the Gaven family...

Meet the Cannell family. . .

All 3 of these families are desperate to being their babies home. Please pray and donate if you feel led. I will be posting more with fundraisers these families are doing.

John 14:18-20New International Version (NIV)

The Solano family

I have been really enjoying paint nites.  The instructor tells you step by step directions. I was overjoyed when I found out they do fundraisers. A local family is adopting again. This time they are bringing home two chilren. Everything is in the works except a need  $100 depisit. I wish I had it but I live paycheck to paycheck.  I'm hoping someone can help me help this amazing family.

Here's the link to the you caring account.
If you cannot donate please share. Thank you.

Bump, Bump, Bump

Hi friends!  Thank you for reading!  As many of you know I am an advocate for Reece's Rainbow.  We are in the middle of one of our largest fundraisers!  The Angel Tree.  I am shouting for Melvin and Jackey. My goal is to raise funds and awareness for them and hopefully grow their grants by $1,000 each.  (and hopefully a family finds them as well).

My last post states my fundraising failures.  But right now we have a donor who will bump kids from the bottom of the tree up to the $250 spot once we bump the closest one to $250.  My boys are closest to the bottom so they have a good chance of bumping up when the closer ones make it.  Please share and donate if you can to my boys or to the closest child to $250.  You can visit the angel tree here:

Please pray, donate, and share!

Angel Tree Warrior For Melvin and Jackey

Its that time of the year ago.  Angel Tree! I actually have 2 kiddos this year because we were short warriors.  I had a Norwex fundraiser and a Usborne fundraiser.  Neither raised too much money but I am extremely grateful for Angeline VanHalle and Angela Johnson Campbell for doing them for me.  Norwex raised $20.09 for each boy and Usborne raised $8 per boy.

Right now I am doing a tastefully simple fundraiser.  (Thank you, Karly Jaco)  You can find the link here:  Order quick if you want gifts in time for Christmas!  As soon as you order, your order is placed.  You don't have to wait until the party closes.

The other thing I am doing is Gift Wrapping at Barnes and Nobles for donations and Reece's Rainbow exposure.  I'm not sure of the total made during the 3 days we wrapped already.  (I haven't counted yet).  I also need to add the funds from the Buddy Walk.  That was $20.  I have one more day for gift wrapping next Thursday (December 17).  I could use some help if anyone would like to come help.  You don't have to know about Reece's Rainbow.  I'll school you. :-) It's the Barnes and Nobles in Natomas at 3561 N Fwy, Sacramento Ca 95834.

If you found this blog because of the gift wrapping at Barnes and Nobles, Thank you for checking out Reece's Rainbow.  The direct link to donate to
Melvin is here:
And the direct link for Jackey is here:

but if you want to see all kids on the angel tree look here:

Thank you for helping me to help them!

2 local families

I am a Family Warrior for the Chellson family adopting Chava.

I am also helping the Solano family adopting Jade. (Darla on RR)

I asking for prayers right now.  Prayers I can be a great assistance to both families and that they are fully funded quickly and can get to their babies quickly.

I would love fundraising ideas I can take back to these 2 families.  All donations appreciated.

1 year ago Putin chose to give many kids a death sentence

Every day I am reminded of the kids in Russia who cannot be adopted thanks to the ban Putin put on US adoptions.  My heart breaks daily for the parents who held their kids in the arms and said "we will be back." Yet, they were not allowed.  Everyday I learn of another child who was caught in the ban.

Please take a moment to pray for all the children stuck and their families and advocates.

Natasha, Nico, Micah, Yana, Carina, Celine, Cora Lynn, Preston.......and so many more.

These children are growing up without a family's love.

Pray for a miracle.

Gift Wrapping for Barnes and Nobles

The way I always seem to raise money is gift wrapping at Barnes and Nobles.  The best thing is I get to tell people about RR and the kids.  I am happy to report Orren Is about $100 away from the $1,000 goal.  I forgot to take a picture this year.  I was under the weather when I was there.  But if you are reading this because you had me wrap your gift, Thank you.  Please check out Reece's Rainbow at

All For Orren

Ok so my Card Fundraiser was a total flop.  Not one person wanted to buy a box of cards.  So moving on to the next fundraiser.  It was an auction but again didn't go so well.

Now I am teaming up with some other warriors and we are going to do a huge auction benefitting mutliple Angel Tree children.

This means I need auction items for Orren.  It means other warriors need items too.   We would appreciate your help.

You can find the auction here:

Thank you for your help!!!

1st Fundraiser for Orren

My first fundraiser for Orren will be Cards for a Cause through Usborne books.
Each box of 30 cards costs $30. Think about how much you usually spend on a card. It's far more than $1! The cards are unique and you can choose All Occasion cards or Kids cards. Orren's grant will get $13 of each box sold! All of the cards will be shipped to me. If you are local, I will deliver them to you. If you are not local, I will ship them to you for an additional $4 charge. All payments can be sent to my paypal account using the email If you are local, you can write me a check and I will pick it up. I will pay the Usborne consultant and then make a donation to Orren's grant. I will be taking orders from now until October 12th.
Remember this sweet face and why we are doing this!!!!

Angel Tree

I wasn't sure I was going to do Angel tree this year. I have been Colton's AT warrior for the last two years and haven't really became as attached to a child since. But I looked through the RR kiddos and decided to go for it. I have been matched with my first choice. Orren. I'm going to try to get back into blogging because I know I have business cards with my blog on it so I need it to be updated. Stay tuned for fundraisers for Orren. First one will be an auction and I would appreciate any items people may want to donate. Auction will start middle of October and end November 1 which is when payment will be due. Please help Orren reach his $1,000 goal and help him find a family.

The Youngs! Pancake Fundraiser.

I met Michelle and James recently and they are a wonderful family. We had 2 fundraisers for them. A BBQ (Thanks to the sisterhood) and a pancake breakfast. I ran the pancake breakfast fundraiser. It was something new that none of us here in Sacramento had tried. We didn't make as much as I had hoped but it was fun and we brought in $400. They still need $10,000 to be fully funded and are traveling soon. Any help would be appreciated. is their blog. is their RR link. Here's some pics of the pancake fundraiser. (pics will have to wait they are not uploading)

I never realized how much heartache was involved with loving orphans. The situation with Russia has made me so sick. Every time I turn around someone is telling me there were adopting from Russia and now they can't. Kids I prayed for and helped fundraise for. Its sad. I have other things my heart hurts for but I can't share at the moment. But I just wanted to blog quickly so you all know I am still here.

I am happy to say that Colton has more than bypassed his goal of $1,000 during out Angel Tree fundraiser. I will continue to advocate and fundraise for this little guy. He needs a family. I would like to thank Tiffany for her help with raising money for "my" sweet boy. I will be helping to move other children up to the $1,0000 mark. We just had a 24 hour challenge to get everyone up to $250 and it was met. It was a matching grant challenge so it bumped many children to the goal of $1,000. It was very exciting. We still have a ways to go to get every one to $1,000. $35 donation to any child gets you a beautul ornament. I have 3! Love them! So choose a child and donate!

Oh Baby Colton

I am Officially Matched with Colton again this year for Angel Tree. I made sure I requested him as soon as I could. I love him more than anything and wish beyond wishes that I could save him, that I can be his mom. Since I can't I am determined to raise as much money for him as I can and hopefully find him a family. Someone else (Tiffany)is partnering up to help me because she also loves him so very much. Stay tuned for our fundraising attempts.

Sweet Brigita

Brigita met her Mommy. I cannot find the words to tell you how happy I am for this child. At one point I thought God was calling me to adopt her but turns out he wanted me to become friends with Dee who he chose to be her mommy. Congratulations Dee. She is beautiful!!!!

Help me get a Passport

Many times I have been asked to travel with a family to another country to rescue thier children. Right now I have two families possibly Needing my help. So I have decided to try to raise the money for the passport just in case. Also, I will be prepared if someone else asks. I think this would be an amazing opportunity as its not likely that my husband and I will be able to internationally adopt. I don't have a lot of extra money since my extra goes to helping others with adoption funds. I would appreciate it if you could help me with just a few dollars. I would like to do an auction but I'm not sure if I can get items. But please email me at if you have something to donate. Thank you.

I know some people may be wondering why I am constantly doing an auction or a giveaway or some sort of fundraiser.  Sometimes I want to take a break but no sooner do I help one person, child or family the next is needing some help.  Do I blame the orphans?  No.  Do I blame the families fighting through paperwork and fundraising and frustration?  No. The orphans need advocates to fight for them.  The families need encouragement and funds for the children's' ransoms'.  Right now I can't adopt but pray someday I can.  But right now I just can't take a break.  This is why:
The above are 4 children who have advocates fighting like mad to raise their funds and find them families.
These 2 have a family in COUNTRY right now but they are short funds to get home due to some increase in fares and circumstances out of their control.
This family is also in country right now about $1,000 short. Their blog is:

This sweet boy has a family fighting for him.  I have grown to love his family and can't wait until Vinnie is home safe.  This family is also waiting on travel dates but are not yet fully funded.  Their blog is:
This sweet girl captured my heart and her mommy is working really hard to get her.  She is not yet fully funded.  She will be the next auction I am running.  Blog is:
This little one is waiting for her parents to come back for her since due to changing laws they couldn't adopt her when they adopted her "sister" until she turned 5.  Now they are in a rush to get funds.  They need $14,500!!!!! Their blog is:

This family is adopting 5 children with 13 at home.  They are truly wonderful people.  They are waiting on travel dates and are also a couple thousand short.
Their blog is:

These girls have a family coming soon too.  They are waiting on travel dates and are $35, 000 short!!!! I have a current giveaway going for them.  See above post.  Their blog is:
This sweet girl had a friend that was adopted and now the family is going back for her.  They are in desperate need of funds.  They do have fundraisers going on. Please check them out.
This little beauty has a mommy fighting real hard to raise funds for her.  She stays up really late making bow after bow to sale.  Kenzie (Xenia) is in an expensive country.  They are about $8,000 short.  There is an online auction going on for this family on my face book under my events.   "Help Kenzie home."  Their blog is:  http://love–conquers–
This sweet boy has a family coming who have been fundraising thier booties off.  Jaxon is in an expensive country so they are short about $25,000 still. :-(  Their blog is:

You cannot look at these faces and tell me to take a break.  These kids might not survive if we "take a break."  These children need us and I am sorry if all my fundraisers bug you but I'm helping to make a difference....Are you?

All Reeces Rainbow FSP's are listed under the kids picture in case you feel the desire to donate. The blogs are also posted.  Some people are doing fundraisers....others just need prayers.

Giveaway For Gracelynn and Delaney (Kiki & Debbie)

    • Meet Gracelynn and Delaney (Kiki & Debbie on RR)
Gracelynn (Kiki)

Delaney (Debbie)

Today I saw a post that made me stop in my tracks.  Yes, I advocate for many kids and I help as many families as I can but when I saw this post from Jamie Coleman God told me to reach out.
  • Well sometimes when it rain it pours! We should be getting our travel date any day now and we are still about $3500 short on funds for our first trip and remaining fees! My computer cras...hed so I can not blog, our speedometer went out in my car and I got caught speeding (I thought I was doing the speed limit), my crib for one of our new little one has been recalled, my cell phone glass shattered, a...nd I am on the edge of a minor melt down! I would like to do some kind of catchy fundraiser but to be honest, I don't even know where to start today! So I am going to be plain old honest! If you can help us get even a dollar closer to our goal, it would be greatly appreciated! I don't have any great prizes to hand out or a fun drawing to enter you in! But, our God who sees all, knows all and provides, will see your efforts and thank you in ways I never could have!!!!! I am not a beggar, but could use some help, prayer and encouragement!!! Know i am praying for each of you too!!
Upon talking to this mother, I was told
    • "We had all the money in December, and then our son was in the hospital, our daughter was flight air lifed in February, and we have medical bills out our tails."  She also said "This is Satan rallying against us to keep Delaney and Gracelynn as orphans." Satan will not win.

No one can predict what will happen, but despite these challenges this family is still fighting to rescue these precious children.
Let us not love with words or tongue, but in action and truth.  John 8:8

Lets Move Mountains for DennY!

This adorable child is Denny, and he will be six soon. He is in desperate need of a family. My friend Christine is  determined to help him find one. The goal is to  get Denny to the 'Sizable Grants' page this month, where he will be more visible. He needs $2500 in his grant to move to that page..
Right now hes at 1790.00
He is RR's June child of the month.
Can you help? Donate, Share, Pray!!!

To sweeten the pot Christine has offered to donate 2 Adult tickets to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.  They are worth $70. They expire August 31, 2012 (THIS YEAR)
The Aquarium is located at  886 Cannery Row Monterey, CA 93940. So this is a LOCAL prize.

Doesn't this look like fun!

BUT I decided we need to reach other donors as well.  Who knows maybe Denny's family is not in California.  So we need to entice everyone.  So I have added a $20 starbucks card to the pot.  :-)

How you enter:  Donate any amount ($5 or geater) to Denny's fund at or share on facebook.

On June 25, 2012 at 5 pm Pacific Time, we will use to find a winner.  We will have two winners.  Please comment here and let us know you donated and which item you want to be entered for.

Thank you all for helping us get Denny to the moving mountains page.  Please look for his family!

Could you Imagine????

What if you fund-raised and fought to save not one, but two babies for months and months??  What if you did all you could to raise money?? What if you got so close and you got a travel date without being fully funded?  I am not adopting.  Nor have I.  I know its happened before but I personally cannot imagine the anxiety with the uncertainty not having all you need. .  .

Rececca and Mark Jenks are leaving in 2 weeks to get their children.  The country they are in is a one trip place.  But its a loooong one trip. Mark is going home to be with the teenagers after court.

So, me being the nosy person I am, I asked. "What happens if you don't get the $6300." The response I got horrified me.  She said "I will be stuck in country".  Can you even imagine?  I know God will provide. They know God will provide.  But if we could just help a little?

I know I'm not good with words.  Also my own fundraising attempts have been hit or miss.  But all I do know if this women is incredible.  Never have I "met" a more faithful, loving, awesome person.  Please lets help this mommy go get her babies!

These children are counting on us!
Go here to make a tax deductible donation

Their fsp needs to read 25,000.00 to be fully funded and as of right now its at  $18,838.00

You can donate until they are home so don't think its too late.  That's about 2 months of donations that can still be given.

If you can't donate please Pray and Share.
 Thank you and God Bless!
